In an update to yesterday’s story, former AOL head Jonathon Miller has stated he is NOT interested in buying out Yahoo – rather, the capital stake he is putting together is for his own venture capital firm, Velocity Interactive Group. It will be a firm focused on digital media.
This just goes to show that any rumor regarding Yahoo is viable at this point – over the weekend yet another rumour surfaced of a possible Microsoft buy, which was quickly squashed.
Icahn continues to buy up stock, however… stay tuned.
